Hi, I'm Chris.

I've lived and traveled around the world, and the one thing that has frustrated me to no end is how many bad landlords are out there. I've personally been scammed out of thousands of dollars by landlords I trusted. I know the stress of moving to a new country and having to figure out who you can actually trust with your deposit, your home, and your peace of mind.

LandlordCheck is what I wish I'd had access to when I moved abroad, a place where you can look up any landlord, read honest reviews from real tenants, and make an informed decision before signing anything.

The Problem

Across Asia, Facebook groups are full of scammers, realtors can be unreliable, and there has never been a centralized place to check a landlord's reputation. Expats are left relying on fragmented advice or risking their deposits on strangers.

How It Works

• Search: Find your prospective landlord or rental agency instantly.
• Verify: Read real reviews from expats who have rented from them.
• Contribute: Can't find your landlord? Add them and write the first review. All submissions are reviewed before publishing.
